The challenge
De Nieuwe Bibliotheek wanted to renew introductory visits for primary school pupils. Reading advisers needed to be able to create tours suited to the children's ages and the branch they were visiting.
What we delivered
We built a first working version of BiblioTour. Reading advisers can use it to create a simple interactive tour with information and questions for pupils, allowing them to try the idea in practice.
The result
De Nieuwe Bibliotheek has a working foundation for assessing whether interactive tours make library visits more enjoyable. Feedback from reading advisers will guide BiblioTour's further development.
