The challenge
Municipalities sent election result files by email or USB drive. VNG Realisatie and the Electoral Council sought a secure digital way to collect and forward them.
What we delivered
We built a platform where municipalities can upload their results. It checks files and ensures that users can only retrieve files they have permission to access. An overview shows which municipalities have already submitted results.
The result
During the parliamentary elections, more than 320 municipalities used the platform to submit files securely. All 19 electoral districts also used it to retrieve files and forward results to the Electoral Council.
